The Aerospace Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Laboratory at TU Delft is the centre for ultrasonic and optical measurements. Our research is in measurement technology, algorithms for characterisation of materials & structures. We develop interferometry, holography, fibre optic sensing, spectral imaging, phase-array ultrasonic and guided wave ultrasonic instrumentation and algorithms for various problems in aerospace, cultural heritage, energy, rail and road transport and other engineering fields. Since 1998 we are a regular partner in EU framework projects. Our measurement expertise is supported by a deep understanding of the measurement instrumentation and algorithms which we develop in academic programmes.

List of working demonstrators in the stand:

  • Syddarta prototype instrument for hyperspectral imaging, shape measurement and deterioration analysis of artwork, developed by the Syddarta consortium in an EU Framework 7 project.
